Special Presentation
Subhankar Banerjee

Subhankar Banerjee, a professor of art and director of the Center for Environmental Arts & Humanities at the University of New Mexico, and a distinguished New Mexico State University alumnus, has lived in New Mexico for 22 years. He focuses his collaborative work on biodiversity, climate crises and environmental justice. In his illustrated talk, he will share images and stories from his forthcoming anthology—a journey through time from human-megafauna coexistence during the Ice Age, about 23,000 years ago, to the grand spectacle of the River of Lights at the ABQ BioPark.
