Pedal boats, model boats and bicycles are available to rent from Tingley Beach concessions seasonally, from June through August. Pay inside at the Tingley Cafe, and take your receipt to the brown tent by the dock outside.

Six, two-seater pedal boats are available for use on the Central Pond. Fish from the center of the lake, or just enjoy a breezy cruise. Pay inside at the Tingley Cafe, and take your receipt to the brown tent by the dock outside.

Cost: 2 Seat Boats — $8.00 per half hour; $12.00 per hour
4 Seat Boats — $10.00 per half hour; $14.00 per hour

Model Boats

Try your hand at controlling a model yacht in a special section of the Central Pond. Each of the six stations accepts tokens, available inside Tingley Beach Station.

Hours: Closed .

Where to rent: At the token machine inside the building, which takes cash or credit cards.

Cost: Each token costs 25 cents. A minimum of 2 tokens are required for one play, which is two minutes long.

Bicycles

Mountain bikes, in both adult and children's sizes, are available. A portion of the 16-mile long paved Paseo del Bosque bike trail is accessible from Tingley Beach and runs through the beautiful Rio Grande Valley State Park .
