Thank you for your interest in our “New Destination Dinners” at the BioPark. We will be offering an escape from New Mexico while still staying in New Mexico over the summer months. Come along and be transported to four different corners of our world, experience the flavors and the ambiance of those locations.
All of the Destination Dinners will consist of a multitude of flavors and recipes specific to the regions in multi-courses. We will be offering some traditional dishes along with some new ideas for your discerning palates. All our menus will be dependent on what is fresh and available during the specific times of the summer. Spirits of the regions will also be supplied for our visiting guests for 21 and over. Please note that Destination Dinner payments are not tax-deductible.
First Stop: India $65 per person
On May 20th, 7PM, we will be traveling to India. We will be dining alongside the elephants and tasting the exotic flavors of the region. The menu will be served in courses and include: Beef Khorma with Almonds, Chicken Tikka, Spinach and Cheese Curry and many, many more tastes. This area is limited to 100 people for this event, so get on board quickly.
Next Stop: Japan $65 per person
On June 27th, 7PM, our travels will take us to the island of Japan for Tsukimi (moon viewing). Dine in the beautiful setting of an authentic Japanese Garden. The menu will be served in courses and include: Sustainable seafood sushi and sashimi, assorted hand crafted specialty rolls, noodle coated Prawns, and many other authentic, but probably not as well known dishes from Japan. This area is limited to the first 120 people so get your pass to get onboard.
Third Stop: The Arctic $65 per person
July 25th, 7PM, finds us going to the extreme edge of the world and in Polar Bear country. Dine alongside the polar bears and experience the unique flavors and atmosphere that the Great White North has to offer. Please don’t wear your parkas without checking the local temperature first. The menu for this amazing event will include: Salmon, trout, wild game and hearty foods of the region. This area is smaller than the others and unfortunately we only have room for 60.
Finally, the last stop: the European side of the Mediterranean Sea
$65 per person
On August 27th, 7PM, our boat docks on the north shore of the Mediterranean Sea. Here we have been invited to dine in the enchanting setting of a Spanish Garden. Here we will experience authentic Spanish tapas served in many courses. This exciting, spicy menu will include: Paella, Roast Duck with Apples, Drunken Hens and many, many more tastes for your enjoyment.
