This is a USATF certified course. To be considered in the New Mexico USATF State Championship, runners must be USATF members.

ChronoTrack Timing Device. Your BIB is your Tag!

Run for the Zoo will use the ChronoTrack B-Tag, a single use BIB tag.  disposable tag timing system. Each timed event participant's tag is located on the back of the BIB.  In order to receive an accurate time, your BIB must be:

• Clearly VIsable on the front of the torso
• Unaltered and Unmodified.  Do NOT fold or wrinkle
• Pinned in all four corners
• NOT covered.  (jackets, runner belts, water bottles, etc.)

Personal timing chips will NOT work with the new timing system. With ChronoTrack timing, your official time begins at you cross the start mat & stops when you cross the finish. Don't forget your BIB on race day!  Remember, No BIB  means No Time!

Course Water Stations

• Water stations will be positioned along the race course courtesy of Purified Water to Go.
• Portable toilets located at the start and finish line as well as (2) locations on the 5k & 10k courses.
• First Aid stations/medical personnel on site.

Awards

Medals will be awarded to male and female overall winners in all age levels and masters (40+) runners. Winners will be awarded the highest level of award for their finish time. No “double dipping.” Lower level awards will go to the next fastest runner in that gender/age division.

Medals will be awarded for first through third place male and female finishers in the following age divisions :

Medals will be awarded to the top 3 Male and Female overall, masters (40+) and age group runners.

Overall & Masters awards will be determined by gun time.  Age group awards will be determined by chip time.

No "double dipping." Lower level awards will go to the next fastest runner in that gender/age division.

Thursday, April 29th & Friday, April 30th between 4:00pm - 8:00pm Saturday, May 1st from 9:30am to 6:00pm

Pick up your Race Number, T-shirt & Valuable Coupons at Sport Systems 6915 Montgomery Blvd. NE (Just west of Louisiana)

You MUST have your Race Number pinned to the front of their shirt to participate.

Packets can also be picked up on Race Day at Late Registration — Please allow 30-45 minutes before your event start time. Visiting Sport Systems to pick up your packets is HIGHLY ENCOURAGED.
