Team Competition Rules

Teams must register by April 18, 2008 via mail or online by April 23, 2008.

• The Team Competition is for the 5K RUN ONLY .
• Teams may register in the Corporate or the Open Division
• All teams must have at least 5 people.
• Teams will not be allowed to register during packet pick-up or on Race Day!
• Corporate and Open divisions are scored differently! Scroll down for more information on how the divisions are scored.

   

Open Team Scoring

• At least one team member must be over 40.
• At least one team member must be a woman.
• Fastest 3 (only 3 males under 40 will count towards score)
• Fastest woman (or next fastest if women are one or more of the fastest 3)
• Fastest master (or next fastest if masters are one or more of the fastest 3)
• Teams without 1 woman and one master (can be the same person) will not be scored.

   

Corporate Team Scoring

• All members must be full time employees of the registered company.
• At least one team member must be over 40.
• The four fastest team members and the over 40 team member will count towards the score.
• If the over 40 team member is one of the four fastest, the next fastest team member will be scored.

   

Corporate Team Non-Competitive

The company who registers the most employees (male and female) in any race wins! Participating employees can register in any of the four race categories. Awards will be given to the company with the most participants.
