Team Competition Rules

Teams must register by April 16, 2010 via mail or online by April 28, 2010 at 3pm (MST).

• The Team Competition is for the 5K TIMED RUN ONLY .
• All teams must have at least 5 people.
• Teams will not be allowed to register during packet pick-up or on Race Day!

Team Scoring

• At least one team member must be over 40.
• At least one team member must be a woman.
• Fastest 3 (only 3 males under 40 will count towards score)
• Fastest woman (or next fastest if women are one or more of the fastest 3)
• Fastest master (or next fastest if masters are one or more of the fastest 3)
• Teams without 1 woman and one master (can be the same person) will not be scored.

  ChronoTrack Timing

  Run for the Zoo will use the ChronoTrack Systems disposable tag timing system. Each participant will receive an integrated bib and tag, encoding the runner's bib number into the tag's RFID chip.  The peel-off, disposable portion of the bib becomes a tag that runners attach to their shoe. The tag and instructions on how to secure the tag to your shoe will be attached to your race bib. Personal timing chips will NOT work with this timing system. With ChronoTrack timing, your official time begins at you cross the start mat & stops when you cross the finish. Don't forget your tag on race day!  Remember, No Tag means No Time!

  Packet Pickup

  

  Packets can be picked up at:
  Sport Systems , 6915 Montgomery NE
  (Just west of Louisiana)

   

  Thursday, April 29th & Friday, April 30th from 4:00pm - 8:00pm
  Saturday, May1st from 9:30 am - 6:00 pm

  Pick up your Race Number, Timing Tag (timed events only)  T-shirt & Valuable Coupons at Sport Systems Packet Pick-Up

  You MUST have your Race Number pinned to the front of your shirt to participate.

  Packets can also be picked up on Race Day at Late Registration — Please allow 30-45 minutes before your event start time. Visiting Sport Systems to pick up your packets is HIGHLY ENCOURAGED.
