Air Popcorn Popper (Elephant Enrichment)

It's true. Elephants love popcorn! Daizy is still enjoying a 100% diet of milk, but she will no doubt soon learn the joy of a popcorn treat! Air popcorn poppers (any brand) are a necessary staple at the Rio Grande Zoo elephant barn. The oil-free popcorn is used as a frequent enrichment project; popcorn is stuffed into bags and toilet paper rolls, and hidden for the elephants to seek out!
