The wagon is pulled by Dick and Dan, massive Percheron draft horses. Rides are included in your admission. Hours: 11 am to 1 pm, Wednesday through Saturday ButterfliesEach year, from late May through September, float through the PNM Butterfly Pavilion. It is aflutter with hundreds of free-flying North American butterflies enjoying thousands of nectar-filled plants. QuiltNew Mexico Quilters will be at work on their latest projects at the Heritage Farm house the second-Wednesday of every month from 10 am until 2 pm. They are "sew" happy to answer questions and provide demonstrations. Secrets RevealedProfessor Botanica, a good-natured, slightly eccentric professor reveals plant secrets and herbal remedies in the breezeway between the conservatories at 12:30 pm on Saturdays and Sundays during the summer months. Summer MusicSummer Nights Music Series feature concerts by local and regional talent in the beautiful setting of the Botanic Garden every Thursday evening June through mid-August. A magic show and caricature artist are on-hand for entertainment, and both the Aquarium and Garden are open during the show. The PNM Butterfly Pavilion and the Heritage Farm are open from 6 to 8 pm. There is general lawn seating - you can bring blankets or lawn chairs. Bring your own food, or purchase from on-site vendors. You can purchase wine or beer, but you may not bring your own.
